Torpor and Knockout

Okay so the Theri knockout is legitimately one of the hardest in the game and I'm not exaggerating the torpor drain is stupid fast like among the fastest of any creature once it starts dropping you've got maybe 30 seconds before it wakes up and that is terrifying honestly you need about 70 tranq dart headshots for a Lv150 use shocking tranq darts if you have them because every single second counts here and I've literally had theris wake up while I was still reloading my longneck and then you're just dead there's no surviving a pissed off theri that just woke up. So you need around a thousand narcotics or 200 plus biotoxin just to keep it down the torpor drains like twice as fast as a Rex it's honestly kind of ridiculous tbh. And for the trap use 4 stone gateways in a square formation but make the trap bigger than you think you need because the Theri has ridiculously long reach and it'll hit you right through the walls if the trap is too small I've had this happen and wanted to throw my keyboard out the window. But the most important warning is this Therizinosaurus is AGGRESSIVE even though it's a herbivore it will attack you your tames and literally anything that enters its territory so never approach on foot use a flyer to scout and a tank mount to lure it into the trap honestly if you walk up to a Theri on foot you're basically choosing to die and I learned this the hard way like three times before I finally got the message

Harvesting (C Key for Delicate, Left Click for Power)

Honestly the Theri's harvesting ability is what makes it the most versatile tame in the entire game and I'm not even exaggerating for wood you use Power Harvest and it's comparable to a Mammoth just power attack trees and you'll get massive wood yield way more than you'd expect from something that looks like a giant murder chicken. But for fiber you use Delicate Harvest and it's hands down the best fiber gatherer in the game delicate attack bushes and you'll never craft a sickle again I mean literally never you'll forget sickles even exist tbh. And for berries also Delicate Harvest and it's on par with a Bronto for berry volume which is insane when you think about it one creature that does wood fiber and berries all at top tier level. Then for hide and chitin Power Harvest gives you high yield from corpses actually better than most carnivores for hide farming which doesn't even make sense but I'm not complaining and it also harvests raw prime meat from corpses yes a herbivore that harvests prime meat efficiently the Theri is a top tier meat farmer and nobody really talks about that enough. Also for rare flowers and mushrooms you use Delicate Harvest and it grabs rare resources from special plants and all that stuff I've literally stopped using dedicated gatherers for most of these resources because one Theri just does everything you get the idea

Combat

The Theri's damage output is honestly comparable to a Rex with full power harvest attacks and I've seen well-bred Theris solo Alpha predators like it's nothing the claw attacks partially bypass armor and saddle armor too which makes them dangerous in PvP against mounted players and I've been on the receiving end of that and it's absolutely brutal. But boss fights are where the Theri really becomes meta for the Dragon boss specifically Therizinos are the standard comp because herbivores take reduced fire damage from Dragon's breath so 19 Theris plus 1 Yuty is basically the meta Dragon setup and you put Veggie Cakes in their inventory for auto-healing which makes them extremely durable in arenas honestly a Theri army with veggie cakes is one of the most reliable boss comps in the game and it's viable for other bosses too not just Dragon. So the Theri isn't just a harvester it's a genuine combat powerhouse that can go toe to toe with Rexes and boss creatures which is honestly kind of broken when you consider how good it is at farming too like one tame shouldn't be this good at everything but here we are and I'm not complaining
