Torpor & Knockout
- Torpor Drain: Extremely fast — among the fastest in the game. Once it starts dropping, you have ~30 seconds before it wakes up.
- Tranq Darts: ~70 head shots for Lv150. Use shocking tranq darts if available — every second counts.
- Narcotics: ~1,000+ narcotics or 200+ biotoxin. Torpor drains twice as fast as a Rex. Do NOT leave during the tame.
- Trap: 4 stone gateways in square formation. Theri has long reach — make the trap bigger than you think you need.
- Warning: Therizinosaurus is AGGRESSIVE despite being herbivore. It will attack you, your tames, and anything that enters its territory. Never approach on foot — use a flyer to scout and a tank mount to lure.
Harvesting (C Key — Delicate / Left Click — Power)
- Wood (Power Harvest): Comparable to Mammoth. Power attack trees for massive wood yield.
- Fiber (Delicate Harvest): Best fiber gatherer in the game. Delicate attack bushes and you'll never craft a sickle again.
- Berries (Delicate Harvest): Excellent berry farmer. On par with Bronto for berry volume.
- Hide & Chitin (Power Harvest): High yield from corpses. Better than most carnivores for hide farming.
- Raw Prime Meat (Power Harvest): Yes, a herbivore that harvests prime meat efficiently. Theri is a top-tier meat farmer.
- Rare Flowers & Mushrooms (Delicate Harvest): Harvests rare resources from special plants.
Combat
- Damage Output: Comparable to Rex with full power harvest attacks. Can solo Alpha predators when well-bred.
- Armor Penetration: Claw attacks partially bypass armor and saddle armor. Dangerous in PvP against mounted players.
- Boss Fights: Viable alternative to Rex for boss arenas. Theri army + Veggie Cakes in inventory for auto-healing = extremely durable boss comp.
- Dragon Boss: Therizinos are META for Dragon boss. Herbivores take reduced fire damage from Dragon's breath. 19 Theris + 1 Yuty is the standard Dragon comp.
